Repeat Taker Bar Preparation Services The Personal Tutorial: This private tutorial focuses on both the essay and performance test portions of the California Bar Exam. The program is designed to help repeat examinees with spotting issues, forming concise and accurate rule statements and developing analytical discussions—the necessary components of a passing answer. Additionally, the Personal Tutorial provides guidance on multi-state preparation.
Each participant will receive individualized feedback on 50 essays and 5 performance tests, an individual exam assessment of the participant’s most recent bar exam, over one hour of one-on-one meetings each week and written study materials designed to maximize the participant’s study time. The Personal Tutorial tuition includes the Bar Exam Writing Seminar and Simulation Program. Tuition: $4,150
California Bar Exam Writing Seminar An essential part of your success on the bar exam is your written factual analysis. Before you practice writing out one more bar exam essay learn what it takes to write a passing answer from a former California Bar Exam grader and experienced bar tutor.
This all-day seminar will guide you through all aspects of writing passing essays, beginning with the basics: outlining, issue spotting and organization. You’ll learn how to construct concise and accurate rule statements, and apply the facts to the law through factual analysis without being conclusory. You’ll learn the necessary skills for managing the issues while respecting the clock. The Writing Seminar includes individualized written feedback on three (3) assigned essays.

The Simulation Program:
The Simulation Program is the ideal writing supplement to a substantive bar review course or at-home study plan. Participants will simulate the first day of the exam at a testing venue, just like the actual California Bar Exam. This simulation is a great opportunity to put your knowledge to the test.
Participants will receive individual written feedback on three essays and one performance test and a one-on-one private tutoring session with Belia Bennett. In addition participants will submit an additional three essays for written feedback.
